The YPSL is happy to announce Grove United as a “new” member of the league but also our league “anchor” club in the Richmond, Virginia metro area. With its’ mission of providing a “high-performance environment to propel aspiring players to the next level” and a creating a platform for area players “to showcase their talents”, Grove United fits in perfectly with the YPSL’s priorities and vision.

Grove United will enter teams into the YPSL in the 2013/14 and 2015 age groups for the spring 2024 season. Club leadership will also take the role of adding clubs under the YPSL “umbrella” in hopes in creating their stand-alone YPSL-Richmond organization by fall 2023. Andy Vera, YPSL - Director of League Operations said this regarding GSA entering the league, “have had great communications with Grove (United United) and it was obvious that we are philosophically on the same page regarding the need to put a focus back on soccer at the grassroots level…we look forward to working closely with Grove United well into the future”

Grove United will play an active part in the growth of the YPSL throughout the “central” and “southern” Virginia area and contribute to the overall development of their own teams moving forward.
