Aimed to prepare our next generation of players, the YPSL is launching the U8 NextPhase Program, welcoming 2018/17 boys and girls to play 10 games over 5 weeks starting fall 2025. Using a tournament schedule, players will have multiple home and away games at one venue, offering more games, more touches on the ball an more learning. Clubs can apply at www.ypslsoccer.com.

The NextPhase Program is designed to support member clubs in preparing both boys and girls for long-term success in the sport. Clubs may select from two program formats, based on their preferred structure and competitive level.

U8 NextPhase Program – YPSL Grassroots:

This format provides a stress-free learning environment tailored for players who are new to the game and eager to develop their skills.

Includes:

· 8–10 matches against other YPSL member clubs

· Two games per weekend at a single venue

· 5 vs. 5 format without goalkeepers

· Four 10-minute quarters

U8 NextPhase Program – YPSL+:

This format enables member clubs to initiate the development of pre-travel academy and travel teams, preparing players for future competitive play.

Includes:

· 8–10 matches against other YPSL teams

· Two games per weekend at a single venue

· 7 vs. 7 format with a goalkeeper

· Four 10-minute quarters
